Part 3 Architect – Oxfordshire

Job Summary

We are working with a well-established architectural practice in Oxford that specialises in heritage and conservation-led projects, and they are now looking to appoint a newly qualified Part 3 Architect to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Architect at the early stage of their career to gain hands-on experience working on listed buildings, historic fabric, sensitive refurbishments, and heritage-led new interventions across Oxfordshire and the wider region.

Responsibilities

You will be involved across all RIBA stages, with particular exposure to:

  • Heritage and conservation projects, including listed buildings
  • Measured surveys, historic analysis, and technical design
  • Planning and listed building consent applications
  • Working closely with senior architects, conservation officers, and consultants

The practice offers strong mentorship, making this an ideal role for someone looking to develop specialist conservation expertise in a supportive studio environment.

About You

  • Newly qualified Part 3 Architect, ARB registered
  • Strong interest in heritage and conservation architecture
  • Experience or academic focus on historic buildings is highly desirable
  • Good technical ability and understanding of traditional construction
  • Proficient in AutoCAD (Revit experience beneficial but not essential)
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
